WHITE DAY, March 14th
Since my 18 years at home we have been sharing this tradition, which although originated in Japan, later spread throughout Asia and part of Europe and America has echoed it.
On February 14, Saint Valentine, we celebrate it in a traditional way, that is, we make homemade chocolate and we give it to the man we love.
If this love is reciprocated on March 14, he will reward us with chocolate, making a gift to us.
Its origin.
One theory, and the most widespread, say that this day originated in 1965 when a Marshmallow vendor (consisting of sugar or corn syrup, beaten egg white, gelatin previously softened with water, gum arabic and flavorings, all beaten for achieve a spongy consistency) began to tell men that they should compensate women who gave him gifts on February 14. At first the name was not "White day", it was "Marshmallow day".
