Gumshoe Gumby PI

I have been having mice problems for a while now. I have a cat, and he has been work on it like a gumshoe detective. So far, he caught 5 mice. I think he ate two of them because two were mutilated. The other 3 were just dead, lying on their side. I also put two Hold & Release traps with peanut and butter as bait, but the traps didn't catch any mouse. So, I am hoping Gumby will catch all them, or they just decide to leave on their own.
Today, Gumby killed 2, sometimes at night because I didn't hear him do anything. When I got up from the computer to go to the kitchen, I noticed two mice running on the counter. I called Gumby to come in the kitchen. When I went into the living room to find him, I noticed two dead mice on the tile floor, in the middle of the living. I am not sure what time he killed them but I think it was sometime after 9:30 pm. When I looked around for him, I noticed him sleeping on the couch.
I wonder how many mice are left.
I cleaned most of the kitchen because I noticed many mouse terds on the counter. I just need to mop the floor. I hope they leave and stay out. I am getting tired of this mess.
These mice remind me of my annoying relatives visiting during the holidays, but these annoying mice are better looking than my relatives because my relatives look more like sewer rats.

fifileigh › yeah, i think they are all cute, like furry toddlers. my cat's favorite thing is his cat tree. it is a must-have item for any cat.
fifileigh › someone said that you can build your own cat tree. the internet has blueprints and instructions to do it yourself.
But your cat is lovely :)
