Today I bring you the recipe of the authentic Argentinean maicenitas , this is the recipe of my family, passed on to me by my mother-in-law.
with it you can prepare delicious maicenitas that will melt in your mouth.

200 gr. butter
200 gr. flour
300 gr. fine corn starch flour (if they get Maizena much better)
1/2 cdita baking soda
2 cditas yeast chemical (royal)
150 gr. sugar
3 yolks (the egg whites can be stored in an airtight taper)
1 tbsp cognac
1 cdita vanilla
1 cdita lemon zest
To fill:
Dulce de leche pastry
Coco to wrap the edges, you need a lot.

1. Sift flour, cornstarch, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.
2. In a bowl beat the butter ointment (soft, not melted I realize when squeezing the finger itself sinks to the middle) with the sugar mix well with the help of a manual beater and add the yolks to one, Mixing well every time, then add the cognac, the sifted dry ingredients, the essence and the lemon zest, mix well and join to form a smooth dough, almost without kneading. (If you cut them when they mix the butter / sugar with the yolks, take the bowl in a bain-marie for a few seconds and beat, careful not to overdo it because what they're going to get is cooking the yolk and melting the butter!)
3. We stretch between thick films that we will cut later. We take it to freezer for at least 40min.
4. Cut medallions about 4 cm in diameter. (or more kids that are beautiful)
5. We return to cold for 15 min and turn the oven to 170 Β° c (if we forget to turn it on we leave the caps in the freezer until it takes temperature, this is because if we put them in a warm oven they will lose the shape.)
6. We remove when we see that they are white but the base is golden and we let cool
7. To the dulce de leche we heat it a bit in the microwave to soften it
8. Fill the tapes with generous dulce de leche .... Do not be mean!
9. We go through the coconut so that the dulce de leche that looks on the outside sticks.

To enjoy these maicenitas with some good mates or with a good coffee ... and with very good company!
