Diamonds or Alcohol: Wealth or Happiness
.
If you had nothing, you weren't of a working-class background...you had hardly any income. What is the first thing you would buy prestigious alcohol or diamonds? Furthermore, would your happiness come primarily from material things, or would you drink to excess, party and or celebrate your wealth and respect it? Rather than flaunt it.
I have been on Employment support allowance for 3 years now it's for people with either mental health ailments (mine was major depression and adhd as a disability) which also made me eligible. When I think about success, I don't normally think about wealth I think about coming from somewhere that was a struggle and being prosperous when making it to the top.
We all know the show MTV cribs, one time a rapper opened up his fridge and said "I've got nothing in here but water and wine"(Usher), which is very telling. Then they proceed to show you their prestigious car collection and the list just goes on. What I have noticed is that a lot of famous individuals are but philanthropists, do they really feel utilitarian and care about achieving the higher good.
Sadly, we live in a world where people put wealth over sincerity and money over love. What happened to the values we used to have for ourselves, historically we didn't even know what music artists look like when we heard them on the radio. We didn't really see Much of actors/actresses until we saw them in a black and white Tv. As the world is advancing, so is telecommunication, speaking of materialism. There is a new iPhone that comes out every year. But does technology actually make us smarter? I know Its certainly more efficient.
To conclude, if I had wealth the first thing I would buy is nothing that I didn't need I would buy necessities. I would not flaunt my wealth I would respect it, nor would I want to be in he public eye if, hypothetically, I became famous. I would fufil my dream as a freelance Barrister and I would advocate justice for all, I would make my family more financially able.
Speaking of money...an experienced barrister can make up to 300,000K a year. Life Is not a joke and very few opportunities are handed out to few. Like an exam, we past the test when we put in the work and, ultimately, we see the results. So do I want to be affluent yes. But would I exploit my wealth, no. And If I ever get there...if I fulfil my dream, will I cherish it; definitely.

ze2000 › I don't think my life would change much. I would probably buy a bigger house and work less, but that's it.
NyishaHv › I would spoil my family! Must admit. But I would try not to go crazy and blow all my money and become bankrupt lol.
Smokey2017 › I would give to people who have
Nothing as there are people in this
World who have nothing and we should all be thankful
And grateful that we have food to eat every day
Hot water to bath and shower when we want
Shelter to keep us warm
We all have
Nothing as there are people in this
World who have nothing and we should all be thankful
And grateful that we have food to eat every day
Hot water to bath and shower when we want
Shelter to keep us warm
We all have
Maydelene › Health is Wealth...
NyishaHv › Maydelene that is so clever! I love that saying but I never realised the significance of respecting your health. Heath is Wealth!!
I would donate money to charities that are close to my heart
I think I would foster children as there are so many children who want a loving home
I would want to help people that have nothing
To me money comes
Money goes
You come into the world with nothing
You leave with nothing
So If you can help people who have nothing then that is a good thing and kind thing
Everythng else is materlistic
