Argentinean fried cakes
Ingredients:
1/2 kg of flour
4 tbsp of fat or butter
1/2 cup of water
2 cditas of salt
cow fat or oil for frying, c / n
Preparation:
Put the sifted flour in a bowl and place the fat in the center at room temperature.
With the tips of your fingers, take the dough, adding the water with the salt little by little and continue until you form a bun.
Knead it vigorously until the dough forms blisters on its surface.
Let it rest for 1 or 2 hours and then cut small balls, flatten them with the palm of your hand and prick them with a fork.
Fry them immediately in plenty of oil or very hot fat, remove with a slotted spoon and place on white paper to drain.
