The fairy & the dragon, Vigo
.
If there is something we can swank in Vigo, it is our Atlantic Sunsets. The city's orientation and the clouds that often accompany us make many afternoons worth stopping to look at the sky.
A good place to watch them is the Paseo de Alfonso XII. The first spectator is this fairy on the back of the dragon, which is intended to fly over the waves of the Ría Sea but never get to do it.
Sculpture group by Xaime Quesada Porto, inaugurated on March 31 2006, in honor of the poets who wrote in Galician.
Bronze monument depicting a nymph sitting on a dragon. The winged figure sits on a column of polished granite, 4 meters high and 80 centimeters wide.
