What do you think of writing about food for a living?

Some people are starting to be in a very interesting job. A person who loves to write about food, place and personal impressions to a certain restaurant in town is the basic foundation of having a job as a food critic. It seems unrealistic for some people but working as a food critic can bring joy to them. There are times that writers indulge in this kind of job for having free meals with other colleagues. For restaurant owners, they need to give it all their best to receive a good impression from the food critic and encourage target customers to eat in their restaurant.
This is another catch of question: “Is it really true of what these food critics will say about the food or restaurant?” Some people will feel skeptical or even curious about what had written in certain blogs or columns in news media. At some way, it is still a win-win situation for the food critic and restaurant owners. Don’t forget the possibility that there will always a political agenda. The owners of certain restaurants can cause biased for those food writers who will give a good review.
In the real world, some people who are in business online. Some entrepreneurs pay people to write good reviews to their products embedded in their websites. It is a good way to encourage target markets to avail certain products. Once the products were being delivered, the quality of products is poor and a great deception through online business. For the food industry, it can also go with the same pattern of the scheme. Despite the real truth came out from the customers who had availed products or services, the business entrepreneurs will be dismissed and will continue to find how to deceive people.
A job that writes about food is quite interesting and a good source of income. It is a decent job that commendable for those people who love to eat food and travel from one place to another. But then, they should bear in mind to write what’s the real truth and not to deceive target customers. If they don’t do this, then their credibility will be questioned.
