There is love that is false,
full of lies and untruth.
Love that is true,
that never makes us blue.
There is love that turns to hate
and makes you want to run away.
There is love that never gives you doubt
and makes you want to shout -
right out loud, “I love you!”
Love that lasts for eternity,
as the years pass by.
There is love that brings you joy and hope,
that makes you happy to see the sunrise,
in the morning and set in the evening
and brings with it such a great feeling.
Once upon a time,
long ago in rhyme,
like a fantasy,
there was a love so true,
that remains here and now –
always with a warm sunny glow.
