Kites Festival or Wind Festival

Every year the international wind festival is celebrated in the Malvarrosa, Valencia, during this celebration, the sky of the Malvarrosa beach will be filled with thousands of kites with different colors, sizes and shapes, which will make spectacular exhibitions for the attendees, but they will also compete among themselves.
More than 150 pilots from all over Europe, exhibitions of four-wire kites, flights in pairs or workshops for children are some of the activities that you can find each year during the two days of this magical celebration.
And, of course, there will also be static kites, up to 30 meters long, that have made this festival an international benchmark.
This next edition, number XXI, will be held as every year in the place that has been frequent, on the beach of Valencia, on the promenade between the streets Pintor Ferrandis and the extension of Avda. Del Mediterráneo, near of the sanitary post and of the monument Source to the marine activity or "Font de la Nau de L'aigua", known as the "little boat of water". It will be next Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 April 2018, where both young and old will enjoy again this great and beautiful show of giant kites.
