We all have habits that prevent us from developing

There are a number of toxic habits that you have acquired throughout your life. They prevent you from developing and being happy!

Over time, I had a problem that I did not even know. In countless situations, it became an obstacle for me. It manifests itself quite often, so much as to undermine any progress. Now that I realize that problem, I notice that everyone around me has it.

If you get rid of this habit, you will have unimaginable successes. You will go forward with a speed you have never dreamed of.

Discovering the truth

"Discipline is freedom" - Jocko Willink.

The truth is that many people celebrate their success too early. I have assimilated this truth after reading a book for my children, which my friend recommended. The book is called "A Child's Way is a War," written by Jocko Willink.

In the book, a boy who can not swim, who can not defend himself in front of the older boys, who does not know the billboard and who can not do flotations, is addressing his uncle's navy to his navy. Later, uncle teaches his nephew how to change and perfect.

The uncle has his nephew to do ten flotations. He only makes four, but he jumps up with joy, for until then he has not done anything. Uncle does not share his joy, because the task was another: to make ten flotations.

Do not celebrate until you have finally done a task

"Knowing where the trap is put is the first step in avoiding it" - Frank Herbert

Most people feel relieved when something good happens to them. For some reason, they no longer feel pressure and allow themselves to relax.

For many of us, the tendency to celebrate before time has become a habit. Jocko Willink's message is profound: do not celebrate until you have finished what you have planned.
Little wins are a good thing, but you have to defeat a war. Do not let small victories stand in the way of the big ones.

Do not give up what you really want, in favor of a short-lived pleasure.

Violation of rules

"The art of wisdom consists in knowing when you can ignore something" - William James

Most people do not want to make too much effort to be successful. The taste of the first victory is the premise to cease doing something.

But this is wrong. I have made this mistake hundreds of times.

Selling the trophy

"If you have not noticed the trap, do not blame the hunter for it" - T. T. Escurel.

Many years ago I heard a story about a Spartan warrior who won at one of the Olympics competitions. For his victory he received a trophy, but he sold it shortly.

The warrior joyfully accepted the trophy, but this was only a symbol of his victory. The trophy was an embodiment of his achievements. However, the warrior focused only on his successful internal barometer.

RalRey The apostle Paul, speaking of the prize he would receive for the supreme call of God in Christ Jesus, wrote to the Philippians: Brothers, I myself do not pretend to have achieved it; but one thing if I do: forgetting what is behind and extending towards what is ahead, I continue towards the goal (Felipense 3 Prosigo al blanco)
