Why I started a flower garden

.
This Spring I started my very own flower garden. Focusing on perennials, which means plants that come back every single year. I decided it was my time to do my part to help SAVE THE BEES! The bees need our help now more than ever, they are steadily declining and running out of food. You can do your part to help by planting bee friendly flowers, you can also help by making them a water dish, a pie pan filled with marbles and then water, so the bees and butterflies have a safe place to land for drinking. I am growing; Butterfly Bushes, Bee Balm, Hydrangea, Blanket Flowers, Black Eyed Susans, Crimson Clovers, and a random assortment of wildflowers.

snakebitekiss @ze2000 I just used a bag of normal potting soil. Cheap stuff too. I do water daily, and maybe that is why they so healthy.
