There are many benefits of walking. Listing are just a few I'm aware of since I'm a walker. Walking alleviates depression and fatigue, it increases attention and decision making.
Walking limits chronic disease and lowers risk of heart disease, while improving blood pressure by 5 points. It reduces low back pain, strengthens legs, quads, hips, and hamstrings.
Walking works the arm and shoulder muscles and improved overall fitness. It helps keep your weight in check. Other benefits of walking is it also limits colon cancer risk by 40%.
Walking is one of the best and easiest forms of exercise that we all should be able to do. I take a brisk walk everyday as part of my exercise regimen.
