Portulaca is a low splendidly laid down plant of a succulent structure, with thick scinned, stagnats stems from which the ellipsoidal leaves from and the small bright yellow saints that open only when exposed to the sun, form in the smoke.
It resistant to high and low temperatures and moisture, and without and problems thrives on poor soil.
It grows wild over the world to an altitude of 800 meters above sea level.
