Women International Strike 8M. #NOSOTRASPARAMOS

.
On March 8, organizations that fight for gender equality in more than 40 countries have called for a global women's strike.
The feminist mobilizations multiply and gain visibility in increasingly wider scenarios, spaces and territories.
A cry of justice and dignity that challenges us and before which nobody can be indifferent.
On March 8 we all stopped.

The expansion and actuality of feminist thought on a global scale is, without a doubt, one of the signs of this time. Their unprecedented achievements reflect long-standing struggles, achievements and qualitative leaps achieved with tenacity and imagination, but they also express the need shared by the majority of women to face new and persistent forms of gender domination and injustice, at a reactionary counter-offensive that puts at risk the progress already made and the achievement of the pending transformations for us and our societies.

Therefore, this new commemoration of International Women's Day challenges us from a contradictory reality, from the complexity marked by changes achieved towards equality, by the convergence of movements around causes such as the eradication of sexist violence and, at the same time, time, by the rise of reactionary forces fed by the dominant patriarchal neoliberalism, by the display of agendas, actions and discourses that conjugate anti values of selfish individualism, competition, intolerance and social and market authoritarianism.

The ongoing conservative recomposition raises clearly fundamentalist ideas and defenders of patriarchal capitalism. It manipulates the theme of the family, which in the region is the center of social and economic life, and projects false dangers against its cohesion, such as the so-called "gender ideology" that would seek to destroy it. The acceptance of sexual diversity, the deconstruction of the sex-gender relationship, women's bodily autonomy, sexual rights and reproductive rights, as advocated by feminist movements, increasingly come to be considered 'threats' they must be banished.

Currently, the ideas that justify a hierarchical social order have been deepened, even as the driving force of a supposed development and a successful economy. And that order is imposed more and better if the bodies of women, especially the bodies of the poorest, black, indigenous and peasant, are instruments of domesticated production and reproduction. Violence against women is a disciplinary instrument that becomes more virulent to the extent that we fight more clearly for our emancipation.

Patriarchy has always been a privileged scientific, academic, cultural and material ally of capitalist exploitation, which naturalizes discrimination and inequality, so useful to the accumulation and dehumanization of the world.

But in the face of these reactionary forces, which claim to be hegemonic, feminist movements are more vital and more consolidated in our struggles. In recent years we have witnessed great mobilizations with our flags, we have faced the challenges of our historical time, we have not abandoned the pedagogy of equality and freedom. Our rebellion is a guarantee of justice and breadth, our proposals build the civilizational alternatives that humanity needs. We are more and more, we are more organized and we have a clearer and stronger voice. We will not leave the complaint or our active mobilization for the construction of more and better freedoms and rights.

Twinned in the struggles with all the feminist collectives of our region and the world, we join the International Strike of Women 2018.

fortune Yes, equality is still very insignificant in some countries. Western women have more rights, almost all of them are independent and free to do what they like in their lives while Eastern, African women still are led by men in every step. It's hard imagine how I could accept such lifestyle. I was independent all my life. We are all equal in my country and every inequality is punishable, we have a law and we can complain about inequality. All complains are investigated.
