I am reviewing a copy of Going to School in Black and White: A dual memoir of desegregation by Torchflame Books and Netgalley:
This book deals with the issues of race and desegregation in The Durham Public Schools in the 1970’s.
This book tells the story of Cindy Wasack Geary and Lahoma Smith, a black and white students personal experiences with Desegragation.
Cindy Wasack Geary and Lahoma Smith Romocki had both attended Hillside and came together to right a book from their perspectives.
I give Going to School in Black and White five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
