The inmortality fruit, Azufaifo (Jujube)

.
My best friend, as many of you already know, is Chinese. She has recommended me to eat this fruit, among other diet changes, which I will not name.

This plant is good for: Curing the digestive system, liver, kidneys, intestines and lungs. It is also a relaxant. Good for the health of the heart. It's good for the skin, and it's good against allergies (hay fever).
Arab nutrition experts use the leaves of the jujube tree to kill the worms and other parasites that attack intestinal tract diarrhea.
Jujube trees thrive in sandy, hostile lands like those found in the Southeast, and trees easily flower in dry conditions.
Some gardeners describe the jujube as flavor of apples and chocolates. The pulp of jujube fruit is centered around a heart that contains two seeds. The flesh is sweet, soft and yellow, with white in some varieties when it is mature. After being cured outside and dried, the jujube fades like a crumpled delicacy. The fruit is commonly treated in a similar way to the production of the raisin to preserve for later consumption.
As it is a date, if it is eaten enough it causes only small diarrhea.
This medicinal plant is native to the East; from the south and east of Asia. Its common name is Jinjolero or Jujube. The scientific name of this medicinal plant is Zizyphus jujuba.
It is a thorny shrub, it can reach more than 10 m. height but usually 2 m. and means, with many branches in the form of a zig-zag. The leaves of the Jujube are not perennial, and are from 2 to 7 cm. long. They are oblong, and bright light green.
In the fruits of this medicinal plant we can find: tannins, glucosides, vitamin C and mucilage. The roots of the Jinjolero have been used against fever. In the jute bark there are tannins (although in smaller quantity); and in the leaves we find glycosides, tannins and some acids such as zizic acid. These distinct parts of the plant have different properties. The fruit of this medicinal plant is mainly demulcent and vitamin; the bark has astringent, anti-diarrheal properties, and is applied in cases of pharyngitis and eczema; and the leaves are astringent and also lower the blood sugar level (for diabetes).
Nutrition experts have found that the fruit of the jujube tree contains beneficial concentrations of Vitamins A, B2, and C. The jujube also contains minerals necessary for health, something similar to phosphorus, calcium, and iron.

In China the fruit is marketed mainly as dried dates and can be found in any grocery store. The fruit is prized as a natural food and as a tasty gift. Can a market for jujubes be generated? Very few fruit trees can be cultivated that has so many desirable qualities, so few natural vermin, production of good flavor, heavy production, infallible annual crops, without the need of any fertilizer, that thrives in lean soil, with 4000 years of cultivation in China and with none of the climatic limitations.
