Peace on Earth: Festival of Lights inspiration

Happy Holidays in this joyous seasons of Christmas.
"Peace on Earth" is our small city's theme in her Christmas Festival of Lights this 2017. Our people are too religious they have already started going to the Church early in the morning as 4 a.m. to hear homily on Christmas spiritual messages particularly the peace that is promised by God through the birth of Jesus.
Peace though seems elusive but deep within everyone's heart there's peace. It should be practiced and let the world enjoy that peace. It could be realized among us of all races if we get rid of our pride, whims and caprices, and humble ourselves and trust God for Him is nothing impossible.
What's Peace?
I may relate it through an acrosyic. P is prayer which is very simple to do but very effective in talking to God. E is endurance that committing something that as good. A is acceptance of yourself that you're not perfect and you're sinful. C is commitment to serving others especially those who are in need. And E is eternal life which the greatest reward anyone may have had as what promised in the 6th verse of the 3rd Chapter of the Book of John: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)

LiaF7 › Loved the article and the definition of Peace. Going to church at 4 am in my way of seeing religion is a bit too much. Is it considered a sacrifice to clean the soul? Because here in Portugal no one would do such a thing as wake up in the middle of the night to go to church. Peace be with you :)
