When we are born in this world God is already please with us. God wants us to experience the joys of living. He wants us to experience pleasure in this life. When you look at the sun, the sky, the trees and the flowers, you know they are created for you by God to make you happy. There are so many things in this life that gives pleasure to us. In return how do we please God?

Pleasing God should be our top priority in life. That should be our goal from day to day. I will please my creator. Here is what we should do to please God.

1. Faith

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).

It's simple. You simply need to have faith in God. God is please when you put your whole trust in Him. Some people don't trust God in their lives. Some put their trust in themselves or in their money or to other things. We impress God when we show that we have faith in Him and that we are at peace knowing God is there for us. We practice faith if we pray, attend church, listen to spiritual music and reading the bible.

2. Fear

“The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy” (Psalm 147:11).

We should fear him. We should fear that He will not angry with us. We should fear that our lives will not please Him. We should fear of his wrath. There are people who don't fear God. They don't see God so they assume God does not know their evil doing. They do not fear doing wrong things they dont have fear in their hearts.

3. Obedience

“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22).

We have to be obedient. God has commands for us to obey and it is written in the Bible. Do we obey God or we disobey? Some evil people obey Satan more than God.

4. Sacrifice

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” (Hebrews 13:15-16).

Once in a while let us make some sacrifice for God. We wake up early to go to church. We give our money to church. We sacrifice through fasting not eating food for a while. Do some sacrifices for the Lord. Do extra house hold chores. We see in Jesus life he sacrifice his life. Let us do some little sacrifices to please God

Every day God is preparing something for us to give us pleasure and happiness in this life. Let us remember to offer our life as a pleasing life to God. Let us make God smile everyday and expect blessings and provisions from God.

Here, I really want to write something about where every Filipino can relate-the Jollibee Foods Corp. Get to know more about this undisputed giant of the Philippine fast-food industry.

Great Concept
One of the reasons, I guess for the success of Jollibee is its business concept. This is the type of fast food that can cater both to those in the upper class and even the masses or ordinary people. If you look at its packaging, services, promotional strategies, food concepts and lineups everything is perfect, put together as if they are meant for each other.

Up to this time, Jollibee never lost its appeal to the Filipinos and continues to grow and expand. Jollibee is known as a yumburger store, American-style fast-food chain that typically serve burgers, fries, fried chickens and sundaes also known as Yumburger store like McDonalds, KFC, Wendy’s, Burger King etc. It’s the king when it comes to fast-food industry.

Jollibee is quite young only 32 years old. It started in 1975 as a Magnolia Ice Cream parlor in Cubao, Quezon City. In 1978, the shop shifted business to burgers and that is when Jollibee business formally began under the leadership and management of the family of Tony Tan Caktiong. Though, Jollibee is 100% Filipino its owner is a Chinese businessman living in the Philippines.

When it comes to the taste of the food the store won’t disappoint you as they know what Pinoys want, the sweet-style spaghetti and the food does not taste bland and very tasty.

Jollibee Mascots

When I was a child, it’s my dream to complete a set of figures of all the Jollibee mascots because they are all adorable and I love their names. One of my favorite is Twirlie. However, Twirlie is not included in this photo. Each mascot symbolizes something that you can see at Jollibee. Here are some of them:

1. Jollibee- The main mascot- Large bee with chef hat and dressed in a blazer.
2. Hetty- Girl with the spaghetti-like hair
3. Chickie- a chicken mascot
4. Twirlie-Girl with ice cream twirl hat
5. Popo Potato-Boy with French fries hair
6. Mr. Yum- Man with a hamburger hat
7. Champ- Mascot dressed like a boxer with hamburger head

I think there’s other more but this is the original cast of the Jollibee mascots. Its basic mascot for their usual menus. No mascots where created for other popular foods they serve so far. Some of the mascots have been discontinued also.

Jollibee for the next Generation
I simply admire this corporation because it was able to expand rapidly all over the Philippines and also abroad. And if you have the capital, Jollibee seems to be the best franchise business that you can get. It does not lose its popularity until now. I remember when I was a child we went to a large mall in Manila and I look around at all food stores and some are very spacious with few people flocking their stores but when you look at Jollibee, everyone seems to be there-all the tables are taken and many are still coming.

I can now say that Filipinos will never be complete if they won’t experience Jollibee even once in their life. It’s a part of the Filipino tradition and a legacy of my generation to all the young children out there.

Eat Bulaga's Pinoy Henyo
Pinoy Henyo has been a craze here in the Philippines. The game is as popular as Eat Bulaga itself. I am not sure when did the game exactly began although its been a long time now since it was started, this is one of the most awaited portion in Eat Bulaga.

In fact, Filipinos appreciate it so much, they use it as ice breaker or as games for any social gatherigs like Christmas parties and more. Its seems rather simple to do and anyone can do it anytime of the day and anywhere they are.

It is a great way to exercise the brains or if you just want to kill time while having fun.It has even become a past time for some students when they have no classes.It also has already been named as pambansang laro ng pilipinas or a national or official game of the Philippines

I am not sure if this is 100% original Eat Bulaga concept or this is just an adaptation or another version patterned from another game. Eat Bulaga is the most popular noontime show here in the Philippines.

Pinoy Henyo: Battle of the Brains
It was called Pinoy Henyo with the word henyo or genius. Its really a mind game. The mechanics of the game is actually very simple. You will just need to guess a word which is on your forehead.

It is played by pair. The one will ask the question and the one will give answer but the answer is limited to 3 short answers like YES -oo, NO-Hindi or CAN BE-Puede.

The guesser has no idea what is written on his or her forehead. It depends on how well you ask questions and how well the answer of your partner that you both can arrive at the exact answer.

Ofcourse you can start with the Broader ideas. Most of the time, easy words are used because its really time consuming to guess a word or a term or anything under the sun in just a limited time which is around 2 minutes.

For example if the word is Cat. its fairly easy to guess, unless the guesser ask if that is an animal. The categories are broad and if dont get it quickly your time will just run out. so if you say its an animal, there are many kinds of animals and you need to think how you can limit your choices so you would ask if it lives in water, land or air. You just ask and ask anything and the your partner will answer it. However, if your partner said other words than the 3 words one can receive deductions in time.

How to win the game
As I watched it almost everyday, every lunch time, I have observed that there is really a big chance to win easily in the game if you know the techniques.

First one, the words are really easy and sometimes they use words that are part of the latest news. they would be difficult if you get the henyo word or words that are not very common, easy but not common or something that will pop easily to your mind.

Actually, I see its really about strategy, practice, review and at the same time you also need to be mentally alert and relax. As I observed players only got mental block because of time pressure and nervousness.
