Could the Grenfell Tower fire be revenge for terrorist attacks?
.
Can I say first of all my heart goes out to all the victims of the awful Grenfell Tower fire in Kensington and also to those who have loved ones? If anyone on here knew someone lost in the fire then I am truly sorry.
Now what I am going to suggest here may be controversial and I accept that and I apologise before hand if I upset anyone. That said it is still not clear at this early stage what has caused the awful disaster at Grenfell Tower and no doubt in time the awful truth will be revealed.
Of course according to reports the cladding put on the high rise block did not help with the fire if anything it helped it spread and ultimately the council must be held responsible. The fact that tenants and the Grenfell Action Group highlighted fire hazards is typical of ordinary people not being listened to and the authorities saying "Lessons will be learned" that is a standard response.
Back to my theory, of course, the cause of the fire could be an electrical fault or possibly arson. Let's explore the arson side a while I think there have been arson incidents in the area just kids mucking about and lighting fires for fun but they do not see the bigger picture of the damage and loss of life and injury it can cause they are just there in the heat of the moment.
What about if the Grenfell fire was an arson attack deliberately started for a motive and what about if that motive was connected to the recent Jihadi attacks in London and in Manchester. Notice many of the people living in that block were Muslims or immigrants and what about if some lone wolf or someone linked to a group knew this and set fire to the block in a screwed up idea in their mind of revenge for the Manchester and London attacks.
This idea may seem shocking and I appreciate that however, this theory which it is could be just as valid as any other idea until we know who or what started this fire. If it was arson was it just someone messing around or did it have a motive?
Obviously, as this stage all this is speculation but we will know eventually.

Flutterbydee › As you say this is speculation on your part. I think we should wait for the investigations conclusions.
LiaF7 › Revenge? Seemed more like an accident.
ze2000 › I doubt it as the man who discovered the fire in his kitchen is alive and can give statement, he also told his neighbour. Investigation is still ongoing but I doubt anybody went in his kitchen to start a fire.
ze2000 › The politisation of the event is disgusting by the way.
