The Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates today the holiday of the Holy Archangel Michael, known in the people as Arandjelovdan, one of the most frequent glories in the Serbs.
In Greek, the word "arhi" means the main / first, and "angelos" means the newspaper, the angel.
This is because archangel Mihailo is the leader of the army of angels, the best-selling forces of the good that participated in the creation of the world and defenders of humanity from evil and fallen.
Among the folk beliefs about this holiness is that he visits all patients and if he stops at the leg - it's not good, and if he is at the head - the patient will heal.
Also, according to meteorological conditions, on this day, it will be possible to determine what will be the year - as in Arandjelovdan, so during the whole winter and spring!
