Kylie Lipstick, Is It Worth the Price?

Kylie lip kit was first launched three years ago and it became a hit to makeup enthusiasts. Kylie cosmetics is owned by Kylie Jenner, the daughter of Chris Jenner and Bruce Jenner and Kim Kardashian's half-sister. Her cosmetics became famous because of the lip kit which includes the liquid lipstick and a lip liner that creates that perfect Kylie lip pout! Since then, her makeup line has expanded not only to liquid lipsticks but it now has several makeup products.
I came to test the famous matte liquid lipstick and the gloss last year as it was given to me as a present. The liquid lipstick and the gloss are both priced at US$17 each. It has a sweet candy scent to it that I really like and it glides on to the lips perfectly. The liquid lipstick uses a doe foot applicator while the gloss uses a lip brush applicator.
The liquid lipstick in matte is really matte and it's extremely drying to the lips. So if you're someone who has very dry lips, it's best that you prep your lips first before using the matte lipstick. Or you can add the lip gloss so that it wouldn't be that dry.
It's not transfer proof nor kiss proof. But it stays on your lips for a long time even after eating. However, I just don't like how drying it is to the lips.
So is it worth the price? I have tried other matte liquid lipsticks that aren't as drying as this one. So I won't spend my money on this expensive brand at all.
