Carelessness Use of Fire
March is a Fire Prevention Month in our country. A parade of government and private fire trucks kicked the said month observation. Schools in the central joined the parade.
The City government sponsored various activities participated in by the students both in elementary and high school. Fire quiz and poster making contests were added in the celebration.
The firefighters of various barangay in the city displayed their skills in a firefighting contest.
Series of forum and lectures about fire are conducted to the schools within the city.
Fire is good for it gives warm and it cooks our foods. Fire is bad when it's carelessly used.
Last night 8 houses were gutted down by 2-hour fire from unattended lighted candle while the child was cooking their dinner that night.
No casualties were reported except houses and personal properties.
The City government has already extended assitance to thr fire victims.
