Пелистерски Очи
.
Pelister Eyes are the glacial lakes of Pelister. They are two in number and are also called Large and Small Lakes. The Big Lake is located at an altitude of 2,218 m, it is 233 m long and 162 m wide. The small lake is located at an altitude of 2,180 m long, 79 m wide and 162 m wide. The large is deep 14.5 m and the small 2.6 m. Right next to the Great Lake there is a mountain lodge with a capacity of 50-100 beds and beautiful terrains for mountaineering, mountaineering, mountain biking and sports. Lakes can be reached from two sides to two well-marked mountain hiking trails. One path leads from the village of Nisepole from the locality Lak Potok (barracks) or the ski lift over the Debel Reid area, and the other on which it can move both jeeps and off-road vehicles starts from the hotel "Molika" and through the locality Jorgov Kamen, passing behind The small lake ends at the mountaineering home to the Great Lake itself. The well-marked mountain path leading from the Mountaineering House of the Great Lake (1 to 1.5 hours) leads to the Little Lake to the highest peak of the whole mountain - Pelister (antennas) 2601 meters high. In the Great Lake there is a small endemic species of fish. In the summer time, many of the visitors and climbers are often covered in the cold waters of the two lakes. The only point from which the two lakes can be seen in the view is as soon as it has reached the elevation or the ridge above the mountaineering home of the Great Lake on the track leading to the peak Pelister and the Little Lake.
Folk tradition of the creation
Among the people there is the following tradition (legend) of how these two ice lakes originated, known as the Pelister or the Mountain Eyes. In ancient times, on the Mount Baba under Pelister, Brother Jorgo and the sister Flora lived with their flock of sheep, who were happy to ride the whole mountain [1]. One day the brother lost, after which the sister began an unsuccessful search that she began to constantly cry and lament for her lost brother all the time. Crying unceasingly, the tears flowed into the two hollows in which these lakes were created. Frustrated by sorrow, the sister before she died when she saw the beautiful lakes that she had created told them if they had ever seen her brother give it to wash and drink their water so that she could pardon [
