The 5 Most Common Threats To Health When Working in a Sitting Position

.
My first occupation was in the sphere of medicine, and this sphere is very familiar to me till now.

If we start and end our workday at the work desk, it is likely that muscle aches, neck pain, and pain of back are familiar to you. Many people spend their day sitting, therefore, naturally, part of the muscle does not work, the other part gets bigger and more permanent loads and so is exhausted.

Sickness associated with sitting is a curse of this time. At first, the pain seems to be small, more likely to cause discomfort than serious troubles, but in the long run, it can develop into severe ailments such as thrombosis or curvature of the spine.

Common complaints of office workers

1. Muscle pain.
If you start to feel pain in your hands more and more often after work, do not rush to blame your computer. Because of the long seating, the load is distributed unevenly to the body, and changes occur during a long period of sitting work. A particularly heavy burden lies on the shoulders. In the long run, this leads to muscle tension, which causes severe pain that spreads to the hands.

2.Spinal Deformities.
Although sitting is the most common activity of a modern person, but as the number of people with spinal problems ever increasing, it proves that we have not been able to learn correct sitting. Most people are used to sit in a leaned position or with the crossed legs. They should know that having a long time sitting incorrectly - having uneven shoulders, a curved spine - a physiological deformation will occur.

3. Swollen feet.
When you sit keeping your legs down for a long time, your legs get tired and swollen. If the legs, in addition, do not move, then the knee's cartilage is pressed: its nutrition is broken, and the knee starts to become very painful. You can usually help yourself by moving your limbs from time to time: stretch your legs, stand up, move your fingers. It's important not to put your leg on the leg or do it for short only.

4. A headache.
Working in the office requires a lot of emotional and intellectual efforts, so it's natural that it is exhausting. Tension, physical and emotional overload often manifest headaches. Headaches can mean two things - physical and emotional exhaustion. To avoid it, you should learn to listen to yourself. A positive attitude will help to control emotional fatigue - the more we want to work, the less internal effort is needed, therefore, and more power remains.

5. Limbs become numb.
In the cold period, the limbs freeze and become numb naturally due to temperature changes. There are other reasons why suddenly we no longer feel some parts of the body. In most cases, the limb gets numb when blood vessels are squeezed due to the uncomfortable seating position, and the blood does not enter the nerve. An unpleasant sensation can be eliminated by changing the position - then the blood vessels become free, and the blood flows back freely.

Maintain your health and stay safe.
