lack of sleep

.
Many of us lie in bed later than we should, and we just do not sleep as much as we should to function normally the next day.

For this reason, experts stress how much sleep has drastic consequences on our health, and some of these consequences can be long-term.Matthew Walker, author of the book Why We Sleep, and Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of California, explains that all lack of sleep affects health.

First, the lack of sleep affects the ability of the brain to remember.

"We know that the lack of sleep prevents the brain from remembering it, it's as if the inbox of the brain goes out if we do not sleep enough and you can not receive new messages, or remember something new," the expert explains.
