What Does it Take to be a Responsible Pet Owner?
I'm not saying poor people can't be responsible pet owners as they do love their pets too as much as the rich or even so much more.
So why time? Adopting a pet into your home means you must have the time to take care of them, feed them, give them the proper amount of exercise, and most of all train them! Training your pets takes a lot of patience and dedication and of course sooo much of your time. So if you don't have the time to do this, then maybe you shouldn't adopt a pet.
Money. To ensure your pet's health you need to give them quality food and quality food can be way more expensive than commercial food. Another is the obvious reason: you must have money for the Vet. They need their immunisation, regular check ups, and of course you need money for when they get sick.
I know a lot of people are claiming to be animal lovers but the moment they get tired of their pets, they usually return their pets to the shelter, which is very sad for the animal. And it's not the animals fault, but the pet owner.
So it takes more than love to be a responsible pet owner.
