Music is one of the few things in life that has the power to move most people emotionally. A piece of music can bring back memories, lift our spirits or soothe our soul and help us express emotions when words fail us. It is this power that Music Therapy provides, using the various musical components to provide a way of relating within a therapeutic relationship.

Music is something that almost everyone can relate to and, in fact, most of us listen to music at some time every day. Whether you're singing along with your favorite song on your way to work, listening to the radio at home or dancing on a Saturday night, chances are that there is not a day that goes by without music.

The idea behind Musical Therapy is to take advantage of that shared experience in a therapeutic way. Music Therapy can help a variety of people, including those with emotional difficulties and physical limitations. Young children can benefit and improve communication, while older people can regain self-esteem.

The use of music as therapy has taken place for centuries, since ancient Greece. Apollo, for example, is the Greek god of music and medicine, which shows that the two have been linked at least since ancient Greek times. Musical Therapy is practiced even in biblical times, when it was thought that David played the harp to free Saul from an evil spirit.

The Musical Therapy as we know it today began in the wake of the World Wars I and II. It was then that musicians (especially in the United Kingdom) would travel to hospitals to play music for soldiers who suffered emotional and physical trauma. French cellist Juliette Alvin pioneered clinical music therapy in Britain in the 1960s, and is still considered to be the strongest influence factor in therapy.

But...what is Music Therapy?
Music Therapy is a type of creative therapy that consists of listening and / or playing music. Depending on the needs of the participant, Music Therapy can promote self-awareness, communication skills and self-esteem. The therapy uses the social and communicative nature of music to do this and aims to facilitate positive changes in behavior.

In general, the music therapist will conduct sessions using a series of instruments and / or his voice to provoke the interaction and response of the participants. This type of relaxed and safe environment helps to promote learning and emotional release of the participants.

Is musical experience needed?
No previous musical experience is needed and it is not necessary to know how to play an instrument to participate. If the therapist wants you to join, he is likely to offer you an easy tool to play, an instrument such as a drum or tambourine or, in fact you can just sit back and enjoy listening to the music.

It is also worth noting that Music Therapy is not intended to teach you to play an instrument and should not be a substitute for music lessons. Having said that, it is possible that you naturally acquire better rhythmic control and develop musical sensitivity.

Can music therapy cure?
Musical Therapy has the potential to affect an individual for the best, however, some conditions are irreversible. In some cases, Music Therapy may have a healing effect, and in others it may help to slow down the deterioration. Depending on the issues that are addressed within the therapy, it may be necessary for the individual to undergo additional treatment, or to combine different types of treatment.

The reason to talk about this very interesting topic is that these therapies are totally recommended in people like my oldest daughter, and since we are testing the improvement is noticed. For this reason I wanted to tell you about it after spending time searching for the relevant information.

The world is surrounded by people of the class, I do not mean social classes, there are not people with different attitudes that can pass the same as poor social stratum as rich. Wherever you want to go to another with disguised and indiscreet looks that denote indifference for others.

This attitude goes more to be on the defensive assuming that it is because they are people who do not mess with anyone but, in reality, it is because in their mental inside they believe that something can happen to them and therefore they defend themselves in an unconscious way. Good-hearted people do not act like that.

Usually the vast majority, when they are in trouble do not know where to go to solve their ills, go to the extreme, they resign themselves to their new life full of chaos but adapt and are convinced that life is like this and so they must live, something else full of ineptitude.

There is only one certain group that does not enter those that are really apt to learn to be a person worthy of being in this life, this group of people when they realize that they have serious problems and want to get out of there although they do not know how , they look for the form and that is very good.

There is a part of everyone's life in which someone crosses their path and this happens, because the frequency of what comes to their life is activated in such a way that they know that the person they have just met needs help, this is well understood because something inside tells you to do it.

In general, this is misunderstood by all that are part of the certain group that have fallen into disgrace, precisely because of the way they are and not because life has insisted on making them live a life of punishment, but this is not understood by those of the group becoming victims of the action of life.

Unfortunately, it is very rare that this action is recognized because the person who has lent his help is of "Easy" temper, that is to say, that they can take anything out of it because they consider him a fool without realizing that they are confusing the fools with good-hearted people.

This attitude, makes someone who is always willing to help especially those who do not have the necessary means, stop thinking that they have an appreciation for others although I think that it will not be so much but, if you have to think carefully before putting hands in the mud of another person.

Good-hearted people are not stupid or foolish and worse that they are so insignificant that to serve someone who believes they are in a social class above them, they must serve until those people want and as many times as they appear in the life of the good-hearted.

This can be avoided, not for those who provide help, it can be changed for those who need it, and for that to happen, one must think, what would happen if the roles of life are changed and it is she who should help the other? Would you be able to put on the same shoes so that you feel what you come to feel when you are disappointed by the actions you return?

It is very difficult, their ego is so big that they are easy to influence but for the negative rather than for the good. Remember those people that when reading this immediately make them want to close the page, there is a present that nobody escapes and people with a good heart are here, sooner rather than later they will need them, treat them well they deserve that and much plus!
