Which one came first, the chicken or the egg?

.
Have you ever asked yourself this question - Which one came first, the chicken or the egg? Several answers might have flashed in your head. The chicken, not the egg, not the chicken, not the egg. It's enough to make your head spin right off your neck. We’ve all been through the logic; most of us end up at the same place. "A circle has no beginning." And indeed, attempting to identify the first case of a circular cause and consequence is an exercise in utter futility. For those who don’t have a pat story involving a divine being who spits out perfectly formed species, it's a no-win situation.

According to the Creator of chickens, and the author of the Record of their origins, chickens came first. It was on the Fifth Day of Creation Week that He created "every winged fowl after [their] kind" Genesis 1:21, complete with the DNA to reproduce that kind. Then He "blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply" (v.22) using that DNA. For the chickens, this meant lay chicken eggs. Problem solved.

What is your take on this?

ze2000 The egg is just like any other animals internal egg, only difference is that is has an external form. Internal eggs are the closest to the origin of life through the science explanation (Darwin), so I'm guessing the egg was first, later chickens developed the external laying ability (same as we developed erected walking, due to needs)
