People who have a chronic illness with symptoms like muscle pain, tiredness and mood changes could just be a lack of vitamin D not a serious condition. Also vitamin D has been claimed to be good for avoiding colds and flu if more was added to are diet.
I can't believe it has taken all these years to come to the conclusion that we could cure all are aches and pain by taking a vitamin. I'm not saying it works but I'm going to give it a try. I'm the perfect lab rat as have been diagnosed with conditions which I'm not convinced with, this is perfect for me if I can cure all my pain by having more vitamin D in my diet then I will be happy, surely it's worth a try.

ze2000 › I thought vitamin D was also in sun light? (never understood how)
Nicboulton › It is but if we don't get enough sun you need the vitamin apparently
ze2000 › Not in England we don't XDDD
complicated › Oranges have vitamin D
Nicboulton › Don't oranges have vitamin c
complicated › Yes orange has vitamin C and orange juice contains vitamin D
MSBT98 › NHS have basically suggested that all children and adults should take Vitamin D tablets, such as Pro-D3 or Fultium D3 mainly because there isn't enough available through sun in the UK, these tables wouldn't harm you at all and there is no loss whatsoever...and nothing except the sun (in special cases) or tablets have enough Vitamin D...you probably get juice packs or cereals that claim they contain Vitamin D...but that's not enough unless you down 30 Weetabix in the morning!
ze2000 › Having a healthy diet is enough. When I say healthy I mean eat normal. Vitamin suplements are just nonsense for healthy people, a waste of money.
HappyLady › Apparently in Britain we all suffer from a iack of vitamin D. What is not known is that if it is very low you need pills from the doctor and NOT the ones you can buy off the shelf. I know as I have them. Everyone should ask for a blood test and try to be in.the sun for a while if we have it.
