Rules for a healthy diet
With the arrival of summer, we gave up the thick clothes, which covered our whole body in favor of short, thin and light clothes. The hot days send us more and more often to the pool, beach or sea. That is why during this period we have to display a pleasant figure, without cellulite, belly or unsightly bacon.
Dr. David L. Katz has compiled a list of 10 rules for "Oh, The Oprah Magazine" that you should follow to eat healthy and have a beautiful body.
1. Use small plates
Before you put all the food you have prepared in a huge plate, think about the number of calories you are going to put in your body. If you want to lose weight or just keep fit, it is advisable to avoid large plates and use small plates.
You should not end up eating in children's plates, but it is not advisable to overdo it. That's why try to eat a little below the limit you're used to. In this sense, you will eliminate more calories from your portion of food and, thus, you will be able to lose weight easily.
2. Half of the food should contain fruits or vegetables
10 rules for a healthy diet For a healthy meal, add fruits and vegetables to your daily menu (bananas, apples, pears, grapes, salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, spinach). Also, try to give up potatoes, especially french fries. They don't have to be in your plate.
Tip: In the morning you can eat milk with cereals, to which you can add banana pieces. At lunch, in addition to chicken or vegetable soup, eat a fruit, and in the evening at least 50% of the prepared portion must contain vegetables.
This type of diet contains enough nutrients and thus the amount of fat and calories consumed will be reduced automatically.
3. Do not eat cooked products quickly
Fast food products (burgers, cheesburgers, shaorma, french fries) are real calorie bombs. That's why you have to be careful what you eat and not resort to these dishes, even if you are in a time crisis or you can't find anything good in the fridge.
