This is a protected zone in Portugal, It is located in the Serra do Alvão and occupies more than 7,000 hectares, integrating part of the municipalities of Mondim de Basto and Vila Real. It is an area with granite and schist formations of great scenic and geological interest, whose fulcrum is the water fall of the river Olo, with a huge diversity of animals and plants. I come often to this zone because I always feel very close to nature. I advise you to visit this wonderful zone where you can be in contact with the animals and all the surrounding landscape.
