Missing my dog!

.
My wife and I had to take our Mr C a Staffordshire Bull Terrier to the vets today. He is getting on about 13 years old but is still very sprightly for his age. He has a number of lumps on his body and one particularly nasty one by his armpit left side.

Anyhow, we caught the bus this morning and it was interesting to watch his reaction as he had never been on a bus before. All the new smells and sounds made him very curious as he is a very intelligent dog.

He was due for a biopsy on his lump which I described above and I am only hoping it is not cancer. Obviously, any sample will be sent to the lab for testing so I am just praying this lump is benign. The vet also said last time we took him that if the lump is made up of veins, arteries and muscles he probably would not be able to remove it.

Anyhow some good news the vets rang us to say his heart was fine and he was coming round and we are to pick him from 4 pm onwards. I'll be glad to get him back I've missed my old buddy!

Sprite1950 My dogs are like my children. I love them so much and worry about them as I did when my children were young.
