Chutney of apple and blueberries

It tastes more of the Christmas steaks, putting the delicious chutney on the table.

ingredients:

1 kg apple, cleaned and cut into cubes
500 g yellow apples, cleaned and cut into cubes
450 g onion, sliced
50 g chopped ginger
1 teaspoon peppercorns
500 g of sugar
250 ml cider vinegar
500 g of blueberries

Method of preparation:

Put all the ingredients except the blueberries in a heavy saucepan, then heat gently, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
Boil, then reduce the heat and leave for a small, uncovered fire for about 50 minutes, stirring regularly until apples and onions are tender and the mixture thickens.
Add the blueberries, then boil for another 10 minutes.
Using a spoon, move the hot chutney into sterilized and sealed jars.
Store jars in a cool and dark place.
Chutney will keep for up to 6 months, and after opening it is stored in the refrigerator.
