A Never Ending Homework for Students

Education is the best thing that happened for a child to obtain from school. It is a passport for them to have a better life in the future. That’s the reason why parents tried to find ways of providing it and the basic needs of their offspring. It takes all the matters and the helping hand for the children to reach their big dream.
The educational system varies from one country to another. I had noticed that most Chinese students are so hard working for both parents and their children. However, students work so hard for more than the working hours of their parents. I am not sure how I can describe it. All I know the students from primary to high school level receive homework every day. The dreaded homework experience is to have it even during their holidays. It is really bizarre for the kids to go through this educational system. It was like they lost the fun for being a child.
This practice had been passed on from one generation to another. It was like there is a never-ending for these Chinese students to enjoy life. In most cases, they carry their books and homework everywhere. Even if the family is having a pleasure trip, they still have all the school bags and medium to do their homework.
In some instances, the parents are being so harsh to their children. Once their children finished homework in school, they managed to give more homework for their children. How can a child enjoy their childhood years? They are all stuck with their books and homework. I think it is not healthy to overload the students. With parents’ action, they appeared to be sadistic to their children. It seems impossible for the students to experience this. There are times high school students are more pressured to do a lot of things: homework, review for the national exam and studying a lot of information.

indexer › You are absolutely right - all that homework is far from healthy. I understand that China now has a problem with childhood obesity because school children have no time for exercise.

RasmaSandra › It is not good to have too much homework but I managed to get through all my schools and get a university degree even through the difficulties. I remember having to carry very heavy bookbags. I think the educational system in most countries should rethink things and consider what they do to the children.
