I am reviewing a copy of Too Far Down through Bethany House Publishers, and Netgalley:
Mary Connealy transports us back to Skull Gulch, Mexico Territory in the 1880’s. An explosion kills men, and damages the CR Mining company. They soon realize the troubles are not as far behind them as they expected.
Cole Boden enjoys his new life in New Mexico, but misses his friends back east. He fights with his siblings sometimes, but that certainly does not mean he doesn’t love them, and try to do the best by them. He enjoys running the mine, and is finding that he is interested in Melanie Boden though at times he finds that hard to admit even to himself.
Melanie has been a friend of the family for many years. She’s definitely not a girlie girl, but a cowgirl who is more comfortable with horses than lassos than she is with people.
Cole Boden is a refined Harvard graduate so it surprises Melanie when she falls for him, but will it end up putting her in danger too, or will they have a chance at their happily ever after.
I give Too Far Down Five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
