Come Dine With Me: My thoughts

I have been watching Channel 4's 'Come Dine With Me' for a number of years and I must admit I enjoy the program. Anyone who is unfamiliar with this program it is about four people or couples who have never met each other before who go to each other's homes and have dinner with them.
The people come from a wide range of professions but most of the professions seem to be middle-class professions and rarely do you ever see someone who works in a supermarket or factory.
One thing that strikes you is how much foreign food is cooked by participants of this show and how little British food is cooked. Stereotypically those who are of another nationality or race tend to cook their own food or French food predominates which as someone who is not particularly overawed with all things French I find irritating.
Whoever wins the show and it is down to the other participants to score them not just on food but on entertainment and hosting skills wins a £10000.
