What To Do When You're Having Bad Days
On my bad days I'll normally wake up and stare at the ceiling, I'll force myself to go over to my bedroom mirror and turn on my lights that I have hanging around it. I'll stare at myself for two minutes before going over to my desk and writing down what I'm going to do that day. Now it doesn't even have to be amazingly good things to do because on my bad days I normally can't even leave my house so I'll give myself small things to do. I.E Cleaning my bedroom, making my bed, cleaning the bathroom and emptying the dishwasher. Then I have tasks like writing in my journal, reading (If I'm feeling like I can concentrate on it), or I'll watch some TV. Anything except laying in bed doing nothing and wanting to think of all the bad thoughts I have.
When I'm writing I'll either lay in bed with a hot drink or lay on my floor with a blanket wrapped around me with my pet cat Salem laying behind me. I'll write about how I'm feeling, what thoughts I'm having and even plans for the year or goals I'm setting myself.
I've heard Yoga is good for depression and anxiety so I'll have to give those ago as well. Sometimes I'll even film a youtube video for my channel or look a cute pictures of dogs. Just lately I've been doing that one a lot as I'm looking into getting myself a pet that will just be mine but it's hard because I'm scared of anything too small, anything that flaps (birds, butterflies, and moths) So I'm leaning towards maybe another dog but I'm worried about the dogs we already have.
