Homemade Apple Gelatin

Here i will give you our recipe.


INGREDIENTS:
Apple skins and hearts
Sugar
Pure Water

The amount of the ingredients will depend on how much gelatin you want to make. In the video we give you the proportion of sugar according to the amount of liquid obtained when the skins are boiled.

The skins and the hearts of apples, we will cover them with water and we will put it to boil.

Keep in mind that it is better that apples are a bit green, since they have more pectin.

When the skins and hearts of the apples are soft, we will remove them from the fire since the pectin degrades, if it cooks too much.

We will quench the broth and measure the amount of liquid left.

MAKING:

The proportion is 600 grs. of sugar for a liter of water.
Mix the liquid with the sugar and bring it back to the boil.
We will see that the liquid will remain turbid and brown, it is normal. When it is cooked, it will remain bright and translucent.
We will boil until it thickens and the spoon is left uncovered.
Let cool and we can keep it in the refrigerator until use.
