The national flag of the Republic of Bulgaria

Since 1879. The Bulgarian flag is made up of white, green and red in this order one below the other. What do these colors mean? Until today, there is no unanimity about what each color means and its location. It is believed that white color is a symbol of freedom and clergy, the green of workers and agriculture, and the red of war and war. The symbol of freedom is placed first in the Bulgarian flag, and the red symbol of war is at the bottom. It is in peace, but during a war, the Bulgarians turn their flags and the red color stands at the top!
And here is what is written in today's textbooks: "The white color represents liberty, the green - the green forests and the fields of Bulgaria, and the red - the blood of the heroes and victims who died for freedom of Bulgaria".
