My Embroidery - Part 7

The picture above shows the last piece of creative embroidery I want to share with you. The pictures at the bottom are from parts 1 - 6 of the 'My Embroidery' series.
This small flower piece is my own design. I made it as a gift for a friend in Australia. It had to be small as the postage was expensive.
I used a cream coloured, plain poly-cotton fabric, part of a pillowcase as I've mentioned before. I used 1 and 2 strands of embroidery silk, mainly in long and short, satin and stem stitches. I used natural flower colours. I high lighted with metallic thread and beaded the flowers.
