Do We Need a Prophet Today?
.
Jesus Is Our Lord. Do We a Need a prophet?
We have realized the importance of a prophet as members of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints.
Every April and October we have a general conference through a closed circuit broadcast and it's disseminated via satellite.
We all listen to his spiritual message to uplift us and strengthen our belief, faith and testimony of Jesus Christ and the truthful of the Church.
As we are done with our Sunday Church services today we sing the hymn, "We thank thee, O God, for a prophet". It makes us feel how grateful we are.
We have a living Prophet who gives us direction on what to do in this modern times. We believe him that he receives revelations from the Lord to guide us.
Thus, we're happy to serve him and follow his instructions for our spiritual well-being.
Parts of lyrics of hymn:
"We thank thee, O God, for a prophet
"To guide us in these latter days..
"We thank thee for every blessing...
"We feel it a pleasure to serve thee
"And love to obey thy command..."
I know you've your own faith and belief. This is only for your information.
