Hercule Poirot (a detective that everyone despised but admired him)
He's Agatha Christie's greatest character and a brilliant David Suchet made this role alive actually, I think, he dedicated 25 years of his career and life to this character.
Poirot, a private detective who is obsessed with cleanness, order, "gray cells" and, ultimately, finding a culprit. Every episode at the end where he gathered characters that are suspicious, challenging them to confess and revealing the criminal was my favourite part.
If you haven't read about him or watched him, just watch documentary "Being Poirot", from 2013, where Suchet explains Poirot's character and you'll know it all :)
