Mens fashion stuck in time

.
David Bowie was the first metrosexual who revolutionised the way society looked at men and what makes a true man.

The idea of a man wearing makeup, wearing outlandish clothes and a man having as much involvement with his kids as much as the mum does were all revolutionary concepts for men.

Bowie did a revolution for men on those fronts as did others say, Beckham who also was a male icon who tried different fashions and looks and was as much a father to his kids as Victoria was a mum.

These people and others have blazed a trail for men so if a man wears something different or uses men's products there is nothing gay or sissy about it anymore.

However, in this current climate men's casual fashion and smart fashion it seems has got stuck in rut. We are now in a new century and fashion designers need to be revolutionising men's fashion again.

Men have had the same basic design for the suit for the last 300 year and men's casual fashions have been the same since the 1940's despite some variations in both. Something needs to change so that men can have the choice of new clothes for a new century.

ze2000 at the beginning he was quite a weirdo. But i suppose is the way artists make entry to the "superstar" world. He was a great personality indeed.

Bilston I don't think that metrosexual is the proper cualification for him.

Flutterbydee Today men's clothes can be as individualized as they want. Men I notice are trend setters who take care to choose what they like. However the majority don't seem to care less about any of this, wearing boring and dull clothes. Wake up guys, you could be so cool!
