The trunk of the young man is upright, branched and crushed. The height is up to 50 centimeters and is covered with short and solid hairs. The shape of the leaves differs depending on their position: the upper are long or spike, the middle ones are obliquely eggy and cover the trunk, and the lower ones are with winged stems. The flowers are gathered in orange-yellow, large inflorescences. The periphery of the inflorescence builds tall flowers arranged in 2-3 lines, and in the middle of tubular flowers. The coat of flower builds narrow, green, sticky and fibrous roof sheets. The smell of the flower is strong.
Depending on the region, the virgin blooms from early spring to late autumn. It can flourish in the seaside and warm ends throughout the year.
