Why God Is Love?
I know that my parents are religious. They go to Church every Sunday and also during Holy Lent. They join the Holy Week celebration in remembrance of the grear sacrifices of Jesus Christ for our sins.
I just go with them in a blind obedience and even in an unrealistic faith when I was a kid. I love seeing people in the Church partaking the Holy Sacrament but don't understand the value of it.
Not until I found the truth when I was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized sometime in April 1980. My parents didn't object it for thet found no reasons why I shouldn't be baptized.
With 38 years of membershio of the said Church, I never fail to realize and accept that God is love. I baptize my wife, my 6 children and ordain my 2 sons to the priesthood. We have been to the Temple for family sealing for time and eternity.
That's how God's love so manifested to us. That's my unwavering testimony of the unfeign love of our Heavenly Father. I know you have your own experience in a different setting and situation. Whatever your belief, your faith., your religion I do respect.
God bless friends.
However, I have no wish to persuade any one else to change their deeply held beliefs - I only wish that this attitude was shared by some of those who do hold such beliefs!
