Is Lottery fake

Is lottery fake recently America power ball was accused of a scam without a winner over a long period of time. So how does lottery proves it's genuine you may see a rollover a period of time until a winner is confirmed or someone has won the lottery in that particular draw it's a very unusual way to win the lottery because it could be luck algorithm or vindicated numbers as a draw is a programmed robot picks the numbers. The participants buy a lottery or pick numbers on their mind so how can we tell the numbers the participants entered were filtered before the draw took place it's a week or an hour till the draw plays there is no guarantee the participants numbers were not filtered and without filtering there is no possibility of having a single or joint winners. So my guess point of view is lottery is fake.
