Electric Fans may be Bad for Us
And most people cannot sleep at all without electric fans.
According to some sleep experts, the use of fan can be detrimental to our health though. Most especially to people with hay fever and asthma. The rotating blades of the fan can cause dust and pollen to circulate around the room. In addition, circulating air can dry out and irritate the eyes, mouth, and sinuses. It can also cause the muscles to tense up and cramp because fans cool the air.
But others believe otherwise though saying that rotating airs can cause no damage.
To be on the safe side, when using the fan cannot be avoided, I think it shouldn't be used directly on one's body. Allow the fan to rotate so the air would circulate and not focus directly on one's body.
