'I Am Only One'

.
"I am only one; but still I am one.
I cannot do everything; but still I can do something;
and because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."

This is the quote I like best coming from the American poet, Edward everett Hale.

I always use this when I am attending to any gathering or especially when we have a management committee meeting when I was still working as a school principal. I remember when I was first inducted to as a new school principal, I was asked to say something about myself.

And this quote above, I said is my outlook in life. I tell them that everyone is unique. Everyone has his own motto in life, has his own principle or shall I say outlook in life. And nobody is the same even the identical twin.

God as I believe has created Adam and Even and their offsprings have their unique personalities. So as with me, I repeat I am unique. That is why, I am only one but that oneness doesn't mean that I couldn't be useful. I may use my uniqueness to make others happy, to help others by using that uniqueness. Thus, I won't refuse to do something that I could do. And that is me.

n.b. - This is my thoughts I have written in the ForumCoin in which I am sharing it here for a discussion. My favorite quote, my outlook in life.
