How to Make Lower Calorie Fried Cheese

.
I really love fried cheese, but yeow, could there be anything more fattening? So I have been trying to come up with a lower fat alternative and I finally found a good one. It may not exactly be diet, but it is a bunch less calories than the fried version, I would bet!

Ingredients:

Low Fat String Cheese
Skim Milk
Italian Breadcrumbs or crushed unsweetened cornflakes
garlic powder

Directions:

Grease a cookie sheet
Preheat oven to 400
Pour breadcrumbs into a bowl and shake on some garlic powder, stir to mix
Cut the string cheese into one inch pieces
Pour some milk into a small bowl
Dunk the cheese pieces into the milk and them roll them in the bread crumbs
Place them on a greased cookie sheet, not touching each other
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
Let cool for a few minutes then serve with marinara sauce. (also good with dijon mustard)

I have to warn you that these little things are quite addicting.

Enjoy!
