How do you know you’re over someone?

How do you know when you’re truly over someone you thought was the love of your life?

The truth is...you don’t. You still get that butterfly feeling when you hear their name or remember your first date. You still smile when their name pops up on your phone or you go through old memories on your phone.

So how do you do it? Move on? Espicaly when you still love them but they hurt you and no one wants you together.

You’re left to suffer in silence while you check on the every so often to see what they’re doing, how they’re doing and if they’ve moved on it hurts even more because you know it didn’t mean the same thing to you as it did to them
